Lionheart held it’s seventh resident community meet-up, known as Howdy Neighbor Day on May 14th, 2011 at Lionheart Pumbaa Auditorium.

Everyone was very pleased with the turn out of attendance. It’s understandable that folks possess different levels of comfort for disclosing information about themselves, and some desire to remain in privacy. This is why Howdy Neighbor is considered to be an informal meeting where attendance is optional. The meeting jumped off at a slow pace while everyone took their turn in passing introductions. People came dropping in left and right; some came late and that was okay too. Several topics were covered and by the time we came to a final closure, it was realized that the duration of the meeting had lasted for well over three hours. We would now like to take a moment to acknowledge the following individuals who attended this month’s Howdy Neighbor Day:

A couple of years ago, i moved to a small island, Malta. That, was a bit of a problem for me, in my first SL days, because i wasn’t qualified for a credit or debit card.. and couldn’t upload any L$. Than, after a while of camping and playing free zyngo ^^, i started to get used to SL, and experimenting, learning, building stuff, etc. That’s pretty much how i ended up a builder 🙂 I started my own small business, and i came to LH, because i wanted a safe, friendly place where i can develop it, and it turned out that LH was the perfect place for that. In my spare time, i do pretty much everything i can think of, and i’m always open to new things and meeting new ppl. In RL, half of my life, i’ve been a DJ.. and half, focused on computer stuff, IT, a bit of programing, web designing. Aaand.. that pretty much wraps it up, i belive °͜°

Currently I have a home here in Lionheart and I’m involved in the Lionheart emergency roleplay community. What I do/have done here in Lionheart has varied greatly over time, in the past I’ve had a variety of things from stores, to homes, to classrooms, you name it 😛 It’s been awhile, but if I’m remembering correctly I believe I came across Lionheart after visiting Union Micro one day. Since then, this is the only place I’ve really wanted to live as it has a great environment and sense of community, and I’m glad to be giving something back now with my service as part of the staff 🙂 I came to SL by the request of a friend back in 2008 and have loved it ever since, and as many others have said I had my era with Zyngo and whatnot also 😛 (I lost more than I ever earned I’m sure) I like making new friends and I don’t really have much to say about RL :P.
